Phlebotomist

Work Schedule Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (must be flexible). Saturdays as assigned. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other screening tests. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification, completed training program, or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency may meet requirements. Able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Must be flexible to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. May need to travel to an additional site as needed; reliable transportation required. Pay Range $17.75 – $26.00 per hour. Benefits Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Employees scheduled for less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan.
