Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Perform sterile vaginal exams as part of routine patient assessment and monitoring
• Circulate during obstetric procedures, supporting the clinical team throughout the delivery process
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using electronic health record systems

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license (compact license must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Must be an experienced traveler (first-time travelers will not be considered)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Ability to circulate and perform sterile vaginal exams required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification preferred
• Experience in large acute care hospital settings highly preferred
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
