The ideal candidate will be experienced in critical care and possess strong clinical skills.Unit InformationUnit Type: ICUNumber of Beds: 42 (East 20, West 22)Patient Diagnoses:Neuro/Med: Strokes, Sepsis, Altered Mental Status, Neuro Interventions, Respiratory Failure, Congestive Heart Failure, Post-STEMICTICU: Cardiovascular Surgery, Cardiogenic Shock, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm SurgerySurg/Trauma: Trauma, Major Post-operative SituationsSpecialty Equipment: Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), Ventriculostomy, Intracranial Pressure Monitoring, Targeted Temperature Management (Arcic Sun)Floating: Required as needed to all units except Behavioral Health and Emergency Room (unless holding)Shift DetailsShift Timing: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AMBlock Scheduling: Not guaranteedQualificationsMinimum of 2 years of ICU experience (4-5 years preferred)Experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) and PrismaflexStrong background in heart-related care is highly preferredCurrent certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, NIHSSActive New York and all relevant RN licenses, verified through NURSYS reportDriver's license with matching address to provided demographics
