Delivery DriverThe Delivery Driver will deliver products to businesses on a scheduled route or intermittently, serve customers by meeting customer needs and resolving customer problems, and work at the branch warehouse, which includes but is not limited to maintaining the dock, loading, and performing warehouse duties.Essential FunctionsLoad, deliver, and unload product orders safely to customersMaintain load manifests and all other vehicle documents, ensuring they are properly completed and balanced with truck counts and shipping documents before and after deliveriesEnsure all safety rules are strictly observedEstablish and maintain good customer relations by communicating in person with customers, providing information on ordering and delivery timesPick, pack, and ship orders and productsOperate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipmentComply with all DOT and OSHA regulationsMaintain appropriate driver's license and endorsementsRequirementsMinimum Qualifications2 years driving experienceMust be at least 21 years oldMust have a valid driver's license and clean driving recordMust be able to obtain a DOT medical card (CDL not required)Available to begin by early morningAbility to respond to official inquiries and make entries on reports and recordsEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredUnderstanding of highway traffic signs and signalsBasic computer experience or knowledge is a plusForklift and pallet jack experience is a plusMust be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general publicPhysical RequirementsRoutinely bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climbAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull objects and materials weighing 50 pounds or moreAbility to safely operate a motor vehicle
