Key Duties Recruit, select, train, evaluate, and retain qualified employees in compliance with laws and policies. Communicate performance expectations, conduct evaluations, and address performance or conduct issues. Make staffing, scheduling, and opening/closing store decisions, including personal involvement. Analyze financial statements to identify sales trends, expense control, and shrinkage. Manage inventory through ordering, stock presentation, and cycle counts. Ensure merchandise presentation, pricing, signage, and stock levels meet standards. Maintain store security, cash handling integrity, cleanliness, and safety protocols. Lead customer service efforts and foster a positive shopping environment. Ensure compliance with company policies, complete documentation, and maintain equipment. Qualifications & Skills Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, cash handling, and safety procedures. Ability to interpret manuals, perform mathematical calculations, and operate register systems. Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent; management experience in retail preferred. Preferred: Bilingual Spanish speakers (at certain locations). Physical & Working Conditions Frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting (up to 55 pounds), and occasional climbing. Regular driving required. Environment is fast-paced with moderate noise, and occasional exposure to outdoor weather. #J-18808-Ljbffr
