MRI Technologist

MRI TechnicianMust have ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT in hand to submit. MRI Tech Shift: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday overnights. Daily caseload per tech: 100-150. Years of experience required: 1 year. First-timers accepted: Yes. Weekend requirement: 1 Sat a month, if needed. Is on-call required? No. Will clinician float within scope meet facility needs? Yes. Floating to sister facilities: No. Locals accepted: No, home address must be at least 50 miles from facility. RTO restrictions: No more than 7 days. Guaranteed hours: 40. Special requirements: Siemens equipment experience required. BLS and ARRT MR/ARMRIT required. IV starts and PACS preferred. Experience with outpatient/inpatient, ER, level 1 traumas, teaching hospital, community hospital, NICU, adult ICU preferred. Preferred skills: abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, breast, spine, musculoskeletal, CINE, diffusion, gradient echo imaging, image post-processing, MIP, MRP, perfusion, peripheral magnetic resonance, spectroscopy, spin echo images, surface coils, T-1/T-2 weighted images. Prefer that applicants can work two of our three softwares. Current scanners are: Siemens: Espree, Trio, Aera, Skyra, Sola, Vida (multiple of each).
