Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) | On-Call Required | Weekends & Holidays as Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Operating Room setting across assigned shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Maintain on-call availability with a 30-minute response time requirement
• Float to other units as needed to support staffing requirements
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• May provide care for COVID-positive patients
• Adhere to facility policies including a strict tobacco-free and fragrance-free environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — no license encumbrances accepted
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
• EPIC experience required
• Must be available to work at least 1–2 major holidays per contract period (Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day)
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong proficiency with EPIC charting is heavily preferred
• Experience working in high-acuity or fast-paced surgical environments
• Flexibility and adaptability to variable scheduling demands including call, weekends, and holidays
