MS/Tele RN

RNs need to have a mandatory competency with phlebotomy as well as placing IVs as this is a required skill for any RN at Unity. Ratios: Day/Eve ratios are 5 to 1 (stretch 6-7). Night ratios are expected to be 6-7 to 1 (stretch 8-10 if staff calls in). PCT's on all units do vital signs, blood glucose checks, EKG's and any sort of activity of daily living. Years of experience required: 1. First-timers accepted: Yes. Weekends required: Every other week. Certifications required: BLS. Is on-call required? No. Will this traveler need to float within scope to meet facility needs/float between like units? Yes - MS, ICU, ED. Open to accommodating block schedule? They will try but not guaranteed. Locals accepted: No (75 miles). Pending License accepted: No. RTO restrictions: No holiday RTO - please no more than 7 days. Special requirements: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response Teams, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Non-invasive airway management, Isolation Precautions. Patient diagnosis: cardiac and stroke. Special equipment: hoyer lifts. Charting: Epic. Preferred scrub color: Any combo of navy and white.
