Pharmacy Technician II

Cencora

Cencora seeks a full-time Pharmacy Technician II for an onsite position at Reading Hospital Exeter Pharmacy in Pennsylvania. The role involves patient profile management, prescription processing, insurance coordination, medication preparation, and point-of-sale operations in a pharmacy open seven days per week.

Responsibilities

Create and manage patient profiles in pharmacy information systems
Enter prescription information and insurance plan details for processing
Communicate with patients, prescribers, and insurance providers to resolve issues
Retrieve, prepare, and assist with medication verification for pharmacist review
Operate point-of-sale system and manage inventory ordering

Requirements

Pennsylvania Registered Pharmacy Technician license or Trainee license
Minimum two years directly related pharmacy experience
National pharmacy technician certification (PTCB or comparable) preferred
Proficiency with pharmacy management systems and Microsoft Office
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work accurately under time and volume constraints
Spanish bilingual skills preferred
