This opportunity is for an experienced Pharmacist ready to take on a pivotal role as Pharmacist in Charge at a specialty pharmacy operating under the 340B program. The position offers hands-on involvement in pharmacy operations paired with a strong patient care focus in an urban setting.

Location:• Bronx, NY

Schedule:• Monday to Friday• 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (closed 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM for lunch)

Key Responsibilities:• Provide patients with comprehensive medication support and education to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.• Manage and supervise staff pharmacists and technicians, fostering continuous education and addressing knowledge gaps.• Oversee pharmacy operations to maintain efficiency and compliance with regulatory requirements.• Ensure patient safety and uphold high standards of pharmacy professional practice.• Maintain adherence to all relevant healthcare regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications:• Valid New York State Pharmacist License (required)• Open to pharmacists at any experience level who demonstrate strong leadership potential and patient care commitment.• Ability to manage pharmacy staff and operations effectively.

Additional Details:• This is a contract role until a permanent candidate is found.• Preference for local candidates available to start immediately.• The position supports a collaborative environment within a growing network of specialty pharmacies.
