We are looking to hire a Cardiac Sonographer I!As a Cardiac Sonographer I at MercyOne Genesis, you will:Provide safe, effective, and culturally-competent care for newborn through aging adult patients undergoing echocardiography testing and/or proceduresAcquire ultrasound images, evaluate tests using critical thinking and evidence based practiceProcess echocardiography studies for physician interpretation for structured reporting in adherence to American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) guidelinesActive participation in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities in an ICAEL accredited facilitySchedule :6:30a - 5:00p8 hour shifts38 hours per weekRotating weekendsRotating holidaysRotating on callGeneral Requirements :2 year Cardiac Ultrasound college program or equivalent experiencePrevious pediatric through adult experience in cardiac ultrasound, TAVR experience preferredRegistered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Cardiac Sonographer or registry eligible and must get registered within 1 year of accepting position.Colleagues of MercyOne Health System enjoy competitive compensation with a full benefits package and opportunity for growth throughout the system!Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
