Role Description The Assistant Store Manager at Happy Beauty Co. is a part-time, on-site role based in Nashville, TN. This role supports daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and ensuring merchandising and displays are maintained to brand standards. The Assistant Store Manager helps lead and coach team members, organizes shift schedules, and provides guidance on customer service and product knowledge. Responsibilities include assisting customers on the sales floor, resolving service issues, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting visual merchandising changes and promotions. The role also involves monitoring store cleanliness and safety, reporting operational concerns to the Store Manager, and contributing to sales goals and performance metrics. Qualifications Experience in retail or customer-facing roles, with strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to support basic store operations, including cash handling, inventory checks, and adherence to store policies. Demonstrated leadership potential, including coaching team members, supporting shift management, and promoting a collaborative work environment. Interest in beauty, skincare, or wellness products, with a willingness to learn and share product knowledge with customers. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Comfort working on-site, standing for extended periods, and performing light physical tasks such as stocking and merchandising. Availability to work a part-time schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
