Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse – New York

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Utica, New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day shift, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM

Highlights

• Medical-Surgical unit specializing in post-surgical care including bariatric, orthopedic, and abdominal procedures
• Adult patient population with diagnoses including post-operative recovery, fractures, osteoarthritis, and abdominal conditions
• EPIC EMR system experience required
• Floating to other units as needed based on facility requirements
• Block scheduling considered but not guaranteed
• Specialty equipment experience includes IV pumps, NG tubes, and feeding tubes

Requirements

• Active New York RN license required
• Minimum 2+ years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current AHA BLS certification
• EPIC EMR experience strongly preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Completed skills checklist matching specialty
