This position is ideal for an attorney with a strong background in complex business litigation and insurance-related disputes who is looking to take on sophisticated matters while developing long-term partnership potential. Responsibilities Manage complex business and insurance litigation matters from inception through resolution Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, mediation statements, and other substantive filings Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies Handle written discovery, depositions, and witness preparation Participate in mediations, arbitrations, court appearances, and trial preparation Work directly with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel Collaborate closely with senior attorneys on high-exposure litigation matters Contribute to business development and client relationship initiatives Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Active California Bar membership 5+ years of civil litigation experience required 7-10+ years of business and insurance litigation experience strongly preferred Strong motion practice, legal writing, and analytical skills Experience managing complex litigation matters independently Deposition experience required Trial preparation experience preferred Insurance coverage and/or bad faith litigation experience highly desired Work Arrangement Hybrid schedule following onboarding period Initial onboarding period requires significant in-office collaboration and training Candidates located within a reasonable commuting distance are strongly preferred Benefits Performance-based bonus program Partnership-track opportunity Comprehensive benefits package Professional development and mentorship opportunities Equal Opportunity Statements Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
