Requirements / Qualifications

Verification of high school graduation or equivalency must be submitted with application. Individuals who have transcripts from institutions outside of the United States must obtain a complete evaluation of those transcripts from an approved CCTC agency. Valid California Class B driver's license with a passenger and school bus endorsement, a good driving record and the ability to maintain insurability under the District's vehicle insurance policy. A valid Special School Bus Driver's Certificate issued by the California Highway Patrol. Possession of a Standard American Red Cross First Aid Certificate or Special Bus Driver Certificate without restriction 6. California Highway Patrol First Aid Test waived must comply with 12522 (c) V.C. Incumbents are required to pass a Department of Transportation biannual physical examination. Upon acceptance of the District's offer of employment, new hires may be required to complete a baseline physical examination prior to the first day of employment. Training provided to upgrade certificate to remove restrictions 2 and 4. In order for your application to be considered, the following documents must be attached to your Edjoin application.
