Fire Sprinkler Inspector

Fire Sprinkler Inspector 2 Responsibilities Responsible for meeting customer expectations while performing quality inspections. Accurately discern and document deficiencies found during an inspection. Professionally represent the company at all times. Complete service acknowledgement/inspections with proper coding through communicating devices, such as laptop computers, smartphones, and/or hardcopy. Follow and maintain a highly structured inspection schedule. Make minor repairs and programming changes to systems being inspected. Complete assigned inspections on time. Perform other duties as directed. Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs and be capable of performing physical labor. Assist foreman in the installation of wet, dry, pre‑action, and deluge sprinkler systems. Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high‑lift equipment. Be enrolled in an approved Apprenticeship Program, maintaining all requirements of the Apprenticeship Standards. Have a positive attitude and the ability to learn quickly. Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent. NICET I certification or ability to obtain within 8 months of hire. NICET II certification or ability to obtain within 24 months of hire. Ability to obtain and retain any licenses required by National, State, and Local codes. Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs, schematics, and operational/product manuals. Experience with hand tools and multimeter usage. Capable of performing physical labor including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 70 lbs. Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high‑lift equipment up to 40 feet; working within ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings. Ability to work flexible hours including on‑call rotation, nights, and weekends to meet customer requirements. Willing to travel out of town. Demonstrate a high level of customer service. Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times. Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly. Possess a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company requirements. Able to pass a pre‑employment background and drug test. Compensation Hourly rate: $23.51 - $32.31, determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
