Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, performing physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging and lab results
• Work in tandem with surgeons to develop and implement customized surgical treatment strategies
• Provide intraoperative support, including preparation of operating rooms, patient positioning, and instrument handing during procedures
• Administer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, overseeing medication delivery, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education Requirements

• A Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a focus on surgical procedures are strongly preferred

Certification Requirements

• A current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
