Production Manager-Food Warehouse

A growing food manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee daily operations within a high-volume confectionery production environment. This is a hands‑on leadership role focused on production efficiency, food safety, inventory management, and team development within a fast‑paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will bring strong food production leadership experience, ERP system knowledge, and a passion for operational excellence. Experience in bakery, confectionery, or food manufacturing environments is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Lead daily production operations from raw ingredient receiving through final packaging Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and operational goals Oversee inventory accuracy, production orders, and workflow management within ERP systems Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, FSMA, and all food safety regulations Monitor product quality, consistency, yield, and waste reduction initiatives Train, mentor, and develop production teams while driving accountability and performance Establish and track KPIs to improve operational efficiency and productivity Coordinate preventive maintenance and minimize equipment downtime Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives throughout the production process Qualifications 3–5+ years of food production management experience Background in confectionery, bakery, or food manufacturing environments preferred Strong ERP experience; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience is a major plus Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, FDA, and food safety standards Proven leadership and team development skills Strong analytical, operational, and problem‑solving abilities Experience in high-volume production environments preferred Preferred Experience Lean Manufacturing / 5S methodologies Scaling production operations and process improvement Understanding of confectionery or sugar‑based production processes Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary ($75K–$85K) Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance PTO & Paid Holidays 401(k) Life & Disability Insurance Employee Assistance Program Growth‑oriented company culture with long‑term advancement opportunities This is an excellent opportunity for a driven production leader looking to join a growing manufacturing organization with a strong culture, stable operations, and exciting future growth potential. #J-18808-Ljbffr Nbutexas
