Ultrasound Sonographer

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with 1+ year of community hospital experience and ARDMS certification for a general ultrasound position. Requirements Minimum of 1 year of ultrasound experience required Community hospital experience required Current ARDMS and BLS certification required NY license required if applicable Outpatient work setting experience required Epic charting system experience required Preferred certifications include ARRT-Sonography, RDMS-AB, RDMS-OB, RDMS-BR, RDMS-Peds, and RVT Preferred experience in biopsies, breast cyst aspiration, and ultrasound guided biopsy/fine needle aspiration Responsibilities Outpatient work setting within a community hospital Scans pediatric to adult patients Performs basic ultrasound procedures including OB, abdominal, DVT, carotid, and breast studies Common invasive procedures include thoracentesis and paracentesis Utilizes Philips ultrasound equipment and PACS imaging system Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM On-call required every 3rd day after 6:00 PM and every 3rd weekend Candidates will float within the clinical scope as needed First-time travelers will be considered for this position Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Returning staff must wait 6 months system-wide before reapplying Candidates with more than 10 days of requested time off will not be considered Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-748048 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
