Your Role With Us:

The primary responsibilities for this position can be divided into three main areas:

1. MMIS Support (60%): In this role, you will manage item master price updates in the Materiel Management Information System (MMIS), including creating and managing Med/Surg contract entries. You will collaborate with the Supply Chain purchasing team to address and resolve price discrepancies within the contracting team. Additionally, you'll be responsible for providing ad hoc reporting and analytic support using the MMIS suite, and you will serve as the primary administrator for the contract management system within the MMIS.

2. Premier Contract Support (20%): This part of your role involves managing national Premier contract renewals, including conducting cost analysis and activating prices. You will also supply spend information for Premier buying programs, such as SUPRASS, and collaborate with the value analysis team to identify the best price strategies across all Premier contracts.

3. Analytic Support (20%): In this aspect of your job, you will analyze data from various sources to gain insights into pricing strategies and market trends. You will also create and manage canned reports to capture utilization trends within specific Med/Surg categories. Furthermore, you will work with the value analysis team to provide spend analytic support and assist in identifying potential value analysis projects.

Overall, this position involves a mix of responsibilities related to managing pricing and contracts within the MMIS, supporting national contract renewals, and performing data analysis to optimize pricing strategies and identify market trends. Your role is crucial in ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement processes and enhancing the organization's ability to make data-driven decisions.

Background/Expertise:

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, information services or other related field and three (3) years of related experience

OR Master's degree in business, finance, information services or other related field and two (2) years of related experience OR six (6) years of related experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• Three (3) years demonstrated successful experience in roles requiring data analytics, proficiency with business intelligence

software, or materials management information systems. A Master's degree in a related field can be considered in lieu of one (1) year of experience.
