We are hiring a reliable and motivated individual to join a metal fabrication team as a Steel Coating Associate. This role is responsible for preparing and coating steel materials while supporting general production operations. Forklift experience is required; coating/painting experience can be trained.

Sit Down Forklift Material Handler Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $20.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 03:30pm )
- Prepare steel surfaces for coating (cleaning, grinding, masking as needed)
- Apply coatings/paint to steel products following company standards (training provided)
- Operate a forklift to move materials, load/unload, and support production flow
- Inspect finished products for quality and proper coating application
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assist with general shop duties as needed
Sit Down Forklift Material Handler Qualifications:
- Previous forklift experience required
- Ability to work in a manufacturing/industrial environment
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Reliable attendance and team-oriented attitude
- Experience in painting, coating, or metal fabrication
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
