Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVOR Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Previous Charge Experience: 2 years - Charting System Experience: Required - Charting System Name: Epic - Community Hospital Experience: Preferred - Trauma Level I Experience: Preferred - Trauma Level II Experience: Preferred Description: Unit details include call requirements of typically one weekday and one weekend every 3-4 weeks. Floating within facility and scope of practice may be necessary as needed. The unit accepts first-time travelers. Candidates will undergo a clinical review to determine fit before being sent to the manager for a final decision. Travelers are expected to work on major holidays if they fall within the assignment period. Compliance requires full adherence to meet start timelines. Request Time Off (RTO) guidelines specify maximum days allowable based on contract length. All RTO must be finalized at the time of submission, and no requests can be made post-offer or onsite. The unit does not accept travel pairs, and management reserves the right to adjust needs as necessary. Patient care involves adult and geriatric populations, with interdisciplinary support available. Special procedures in this unit include various cardiovascular surgeries and advanced technologies.
