Key Responsibilities of the RN - Emergency Room

• Provide primary nursing care for emergency room patients
• Assist in trauma and resuscitative efforts
• Perform splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, and trauma assists
• Administer airway support and behavioral health de-escalation techniques
• Utilize rapid infuser and handle central lines

Requirements of the RN - Emergency Room

• Valid RN license
• Current ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of recent experience in emergency services
• Preferred: Experience with Meditech, trauma, and holding inpatient settings
