Benefits Comprehensive benefits options including medical, dental, vision, life, STD, LTD, hospital indemnity, critical illness, and accident insurance HSA, Health Care FSA and Dependent Care FSA EAP (Employee assistance program) Employee discount program PTO (Paid time off) Dayforce Wallet Daily Pay Pre-Tax 401(k) After-Tax Roth Tuition discount through Capella University Sick Time Responsibilities Support individuals with developmental disabilities to promote quality of life by ensuring health, safety, and well-being Plan and prepare daily routines for clients as written in the Individual Program Plan Participate in the development of IPP/ISP goals and advocate for clients’ needs and goals Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for clients Assist clients with personal care, including grooming, bathroom needs, and changing undergarments or clothing when necessary Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up Transport clients to family, friends, and preferred leisure/recreation activities; encourage socialization among peers Pick up and drop off clients in company vans when required Report incidents or problems and communicate daily with administrators Perform any other duties assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of professional or personal experience in caregiving (preferred experience in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental illnesses with challenging behaviors) Direct Support Professional Certificate (Year 1 & Year 2) and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) (preferred or willing to obtain within the first 6 months of hire) First Aid / CPR (preferred or willing to obtain within 30 days of employment) At least 21 years of age California Driver’s License Successful completion of all pre-employment requirements, including a background check Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions Work Remotely No All applicants are subject to a background check.
