Position Title: Assembler

Wage: $19.10/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 5:00am-3:00pm

QPS Employment Group is hiring an Assembler for a company in Jefferson, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity on 1st shift.

Assembler Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Use work instruction drawings, schematics, electronic assembly equipment to perform assembly while complying with safe and effective operation standards of all equipment and tools
- Cross train in multiple assembly areas and flex to other similar departments based on business needs
- Develop and maintain an understanding of the products they assemble and how they impact the business
- Continuous learning of the principles, practices, and processes of their job as changes require and similar jobs
- Participate in team meetings to exchange job related information
- Resolve problems with assistance from peers or supervisors depending on the level and complexity
- Provide basic training to employees on work instructions/standard work as needed
- Use power tools to assemble a variety of products
- Assemble power washers, portable generators, lawn equipment
- Quality checks for finished products
- Inspect products to ensure specifications are met
- Meet daily production goal
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Assembler Requirements:
- Some experience or background with power and/or hand tools
- A basic understanding of simple work instructions
