Hartford HealthCare’s Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI) is seeking a full‑time board‑certified/board‑eligible Non‑Invasive Cardiologist with training and/or interest in Preventive Cardiology. This position will focus on delivering superb clinical care to a diverse, medically complex patient population in both the in‑patient and outpatient arenas, supported by the highest‑caliber cardiovascular invasive, diagnostic, and surgical services in a collaborative and multidisciplinary setting.

Position details and requirements:

• Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular risk assessments and manage risk factors for cardiovascular disease.
• Develop tailored treatment strategies based on patient specific risk factors.
• Willingness to learn about management of LDL Apheresis.
• Genetic counseling for familial history of early onset heart disease.
• Collaborate with primary care and multiple specialists and ancillary service providers to coordinate care.
• NBCL certification and/or obesity management is encouraged but not required.
• Board eligible or board certified in general cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and lipid management.
