Front of House Manager

Front of House Manager – The Sergeantsville Inn | Sergeantsville, NJ

We are looking for an experienced Front of House Manager who understands that great hospitality is about people — the team delivering the experience as much as the guests receiving it.

The Role

This is a floor-first position. You will lead service, set the standard, and ensure every guest leaves having had a genuinely exceptional evening. You take pride in building a team that is confident, motivated, and cared for — because you know that translates directly to the guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor FOH staff, fostering a culture of excellence and mutual respect
• Oversee all aspects of service from pre-shift through close
• Maintain a warm, polished atmosphere that reflects the character of the Inn
• Cultivate lasting relationships with guests and handle any concerns with grace and discretion
• Manage scheduling, training, and the ongoing development of the FOH team
• Work closely with our Directors of Wine and Beverage on ongoing staff training and service standards
• Work closely with our Events Coordinator on event staffing and execution 
• Partner with other FOH and BOH leadership to ensure seamless, consistent operations

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of FOH management experience in an upscale or fine dining environment
• A natural leader with genuine warmth and high standards
• Deep appreciation for hospitality as a craft
• Poised under pressure with strong emotional intelligence
• Available evenings and weekends
