About the Role:
DDP Health Care Services Inc is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Male Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Middle River, MD. Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) as developed by the Behavior Analyst or Behavior Professional
• Utilize positive behavior support strategies and evidence-based interventions to reduce challenging behaviors and increase adaptive skills.
• Collect, document, and report behavioral data accurately and within established timeframes.
• Monitor behavioral trends and communicate observations, concerns, and progress to supervisors and the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide person-centered supports that promote independence, dignity, choice, and self-determination.
• Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) as identified in the Person-Centered Plan (PCP).
• Support individuals in achieving personal goals outlined in their Person-Centered Plan.
• Maintain a safe environment while responding appropriately to behavioral crises using approved intervention techniques
• Ensure all services are provided in accordance with DDA regulations, and agency policies.
• Complete required documentation, incident reports, behavioral data collection forms, and communication logs in an accurate and timely manner.
• Build positive, professional relationships with the individual, families, guardians, support coordinators, and community partners.

Requirements:

• Male
• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience in direct support, caregiving, or a related human services field preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Must have a vehicle
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills
• Compassionate, reliable, and committed to person-centered care
