Production Associate 1st Shift

Job Summary Base pay rate is $20.00 - $22.00 per hour 1st Shift: 4:30 AM - 1:30 PM, Monday - Friday (seasonal Saturdays); hours may vary depending on operations. The Production Associate position is responsible for assisting mill operators, operating side loaders, and other warehouse duties as assigned. A strong work ethic and adherence to all safety processes is essential. Responsibilities Understands and follows safety rules and precautions necessary for working in and around a manufacturing environment Safely operates a variety of power tools including electric and pneumatic Band and clears all lines and places products in outside racks Marks part numbers, order numbers, and the number of pieces on parts; attaches identification tags as required for customers to locate correct parts Provides cost‑saving suggestions and ideas to improve productivity and eliminate waste Maintains continuous improvement practices in the work area Inspects work visually for defects according to Quality Systems Reads a tape measure, writes, and follows posted schedules Team player and keeps safety first May be assigned other projects and duties as designated by Team Leader Willing/able to work overtime Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) A minimum of one year of related work experience in manufacturing or a comparable work environment A minimum of one year operating manufacturing machinery and/or equipment Good communication skills Basic computer skills Experience with hand tools, wrenches, banding equipment, and nail guns Able to use measuring gauges Able to read a tape measure Flexible with working overtime and weekends when needed Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually above shoulder height and below the waist Additional Information Site address: 1326 Paddock Place, Woodland, CA 95776 This position has potential overtime. Shift lengths vary—8, 10, or 12 hours—depending on work orders and season. Pay: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour plus medical, dental, and vision benefits starting day 1, 401(k), and PTO.
