Speech Language Pathologist

Position: Speech Language Pathologist Salary Range: $41.54-$45.65 per hour Schedule: 30 hours per week, Monday-Friday (no weekend rotation) Travel Required: Yes, between two sites approximately 12 miles apart Facilities: The Oaks (60 beds) and Miona (88 beds) As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients improve their communication and swallowing abilities. Key Responsibilities Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve patients' speech, language, and swallowing skills Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Educate patients and their families on techniques to improve communication and swallowing abilities Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of speech language pathology and incorporate new techniques into practice Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state license or eligibility for state licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist preferred Experience working with adult and geriatric populations preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Willingness to travel between two facilities approximately 12 miles apart #J-18808-Ljbffr Trinity Healthcare Talent Services
