Aircraft MechanicJoin a Leading Commercial Aircraft Heavy Maintenance TeamWe are seeking experienced Aircraft Mechanics to support heavy maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations on commercial aircraft in a high-volume FAA-certified MRO environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse fleet of narrow-body and wide-body aircraft while gaining exposure to complex maintenance projects alongside a skilled team of aviation professionals.If you're looking for a long-term opportunity with steady work, challenging projects, and the chance to make an impact on aircraft safety and reliability, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll DoPerform maintenance, repair, overhaul, troubleshooting, and modification of commercial aircraft and aircraft components.Interpret and research technical manuals, engineering drawings, maintenance procedures, and FAA regulations to complete assigned work.Disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, reassemble, test, and calibrate aircraft systems and components.Repair and replace aircraft structural components, including fuselage, wings, flight controls, hydraulic systems, plumbing, and rigging.Inspect aircraft and engine components for wear, damage, corrosion, and other defects.Complete required documentation, routing tags, inspection records, and component removal logs accurately and in compliance with company and FAA requirements.Repair, replace, and maintain aircraft electrical systems, wiring, and accessories.Support aircraft servicing activities, including cleaning, lubrication, brake inspections, and general maintenance tasks.Utilize specialized tooling and ground support equipment while adhering to all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.Required QualificationsFAA Airframe Certificate required (A&P preferred).3+ years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience.Previous experience working in a commercial aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO), heavy maintenance, or line maintenance environment.Experience performing maintenance on commercial aircraft airframes, including wide-body aircraft.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, and maintenance documents.Strong understanding of FAA regulations, aircraft systems, and maintenance procedures.Preferred ExperienceExperience with heavy checks, modifications, or depot-level maintenance programs.Background working on Boeing and/or Airbus aircraft platforms.Why Join Us?Competitive compensationPer diem available for qualified travelersLong-term opportunity with a well-established aviation maintenance organizationExposure to both narrow-body and wide-body commercial aircraftCollaborative team environment focused on safety and qualityOpportunity to expand your technical skills and advance your aviation maintenance careerThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.The pay range for this position is $39.12 - $45.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
