POSITION SUMMARY
- Position Summary:
  - Provides leadership, strategic, and operational planning, direction and administration of all aspects of the patient care functions in the nursing departments in order to ensure patient safety and satisfaction. Provides mechanism for ensuring quality care, issue resolution, orientation, and ongoing competency, growth, and development of personnel. Responsible for plans and markets programs to medical staff, health center, and the community. Maintains active communication among SRHC and other affiliate Hospitals.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Education
  - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  - Master's' degree in nursing, business, or healthcare related field preferred
- Minimum Experience
  - 5 years nursing experience required
  - 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred
- Required Registration/License/Certification
  - Current Kansas RN licensure
  - Basic Life Support certification will be accepted from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider, or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider), or successfully completes within the first 90 days of employment.
  - ACLS
  - TNCC
