Production Operator IThe Production Operator I is responsible for operating production equipment and supporting manufacturing processes to ensure products are produced efficiently, safely, and in accordance with established procedures and quality standards. This role involves hands-on work in a production environment, including material handling, equipment operation, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate production equipment and follow established manufacturing proceduresSupport material handling activities, including transferring, loading, and unloading materialsMonitor processes and perform basic measurements to ensure product quality and consistencyCollect and provide product samples for quality testing as requiredPerform routine tasks related to processing, forming, or finishing materialsMaintain equipment, tools, and work areas in a clean and organized conditionPerform physical tasks including bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and manual material handlingFollow all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) standards and wear required PPEReport any safety concerns, equipment issues, or quality deviationsRequired QualificationsHigh School diploma or GEDAbility to perform physically demanding work (standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive tasks throughout a shift)Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularlyStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityBasic verbal and written communication skillsAbility to follow instructions and standard operating proceduresAbility to work effectively in a team environmentWillingness to work in a non-temperature-controlled environmentAbility to comply with all safety requirements, including use of PPE (hard hat, safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, respirator as needed)Preferred QualificationsPrior manufacturing or production experienceExperience working in environments with established safety and quality standardsFamiliarity with material handling or production equipment
