Registered Behavior TechnicianPCN #260158 - Kermit King Elementary PCN# 260104 Virginia Peterson ElementaryUnder the direction of the Special Education Director site administrator andBCBA the Paraeducator - Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) assists a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of Special Education students; assists in the preparation of instructional materials and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPS); provides routine clerical support. Train others and provide proper interventions to change or replace unwanted behaviors following a behavior intervention plan.

Requirements / Qualifications

- High School diploma or equivalent required- Pass a basic skills paraeducator examination in reading writing and mathematics. (This test is offered by the district as well as SLOCOE.)- Minimum of three year of experience working with special education students in a classroom or clinical setting- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certificate required
