Chief Financial OfficerCFO Tulsa, OK The Chief Financial Officer will direct and oversee the financial activities of division and direct the preparation of current financial reports and summaries. This position is responsible for managing the accounting department, controlling function, cost accounting, cash management, tax report preparation, budget/forecast preparation and audit functions for three manufacturing plants.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Directs the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.Compares sales and profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses; makes or oversees any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets.Closely follow development of working capital and suggest and follow up on necessary actions to keep it as low as possible.Plan, consolidate and maintain company budget and forecasts.Manages cost accounting function to analyze product margins and provide input into product pricing.Analyzes operations to identify areas in need of reorganization, downsizing, or elimination.Oversee weekly cash management.Manages local governmental and bank contacts.Oversee preparation of company tax documents.Oversee all financial processes, constantly reviewing procedures while eliminating inefficiencies.Review all month-end closing activities including general ledger accounts, balance sheet accounts and overhead cost allocation.Prepare and present the management reporting including analysis.Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors; Manage preparation and support of all external audits.Manages insurance contracts including commercial, risk management and employee benefits policies.Manage information technology infrastructure, enterprise software, database and systems maintenance.Enhances and implements financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systemsSupports information technology functions in the U.S.Be familiar with and support the effort of implementing the quality policy and ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949 (if applicable) Quality Management Systems.ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform all other related duties and assignments as requiredSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:Provides direct supervision to Accounting and controlling employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; issuing rewards and performance correction; addressing complaints and resolving problems.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:Outstanding knowledge and understanding of GAAP.Ability to relate to people at all levels of an organizationStrong communication skillsMust have high level of confidentiality and ethical conductStrong analytical skillsMust be well organized and self-directedHigh attention to details and ability to explain them effectivelyProficiency with computer platforms and applicationsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance preferred. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Finance required. Certified Public Accountant designation preferred. Minimum of eight years of hands-on experience in financial management in a manufacturing/production environment required.
