Job Title: Maintenance Technician - (Multicraft) Job Description This Multicraft Maintenance Technician role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment in a manufacturing environment. You will perform both mechanical and electrical diagnostics, carry out preventive maintenance tasks, and help ensure that equipment runs safely and efficiently across the facility. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair production equipment to maintain safe and reliable operation. Diagnose basic mechanical issues, including problems with gears, bearings, pumps, and related components. Perform more in-depth mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, depending on skill level. Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Change out filters and fluids on equipment as part of routine maintenance procedures. Identify and correctly use hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment required for repairs. Support PLC-controlled equipment by assisting with PLC-related troubleshooting as needed. Document maintenance activities and communicate equipment status to appropriate team members. Follow all safety procedures while working on mechanical and electrical systems. Lift, move, and position parts and equipment weighing 50 pounds or more as required by maintenance tasks. Essential Skills Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues in a manufacturing environment.
