Service Technician

Deploy and configure Windows and Linux operating systems Create virtual machines and deploy operating systems Troubleshoot and support managed service customer environments Perform patching and service layering Work with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliverables Manage support ticket queues Document steps taken and relevant histories Deploy servers and install applications based on customer requests Set up backups and monitoring Deploy patches and troubleshoot issues Perform other duties as required Requirements 3-5 years of work experience across various Microsoft server platforms and integrations Proven ability to communicate at multiple levels of a mid-size to enterprise-level organization Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to organize, prioritize, follow up, and complete tasks Basic experience with Linux platforms Basic knowledge of Active Directory, including design, migration, troubleshooting, and configurations Experience supporting environments running on VMware ESXi Solid troubleshooting methodology Basic knowledge of DNS, ports, and Windows Firewall Preferred: experience with RMM tools, HCL BigFix, SolarWinds N-able, or ConnectWise Automate Preferred: experience using Windows Deployment Server Preferred: experience using PowerShell Preferred: Windows Server certifications such as MCITP or MCP Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in deploying and configuring Windows and Linux operating systems, managing support ticket queues, and troubleshooting customer environments.
