Used Car Sales Manager
We are looking for an experienced Used Car Sales Manager to lead our pre-owned vehicle department. The right candidate will have a proven track record in automotive sales management, strong leadership skills, and a passion for maximizing profitability through inventory management, team development, and an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the used car sales department
- Source, acquire, and manage pre-owned vehicle inventory to meet market demand and profitability goals
- Set pricing strategy for used vehicle inventory in alignment with market conditions
- Hire, train, and develop a high-performing used car sales team
- Coach sales associates on closing techniques and customer satisfaction best practices
- Set and monitor sales goals, tracking progress against monthly and annual targets
- Work closely with the reconditioning department to ensure vehicles are retail-ready in a timely manner
- Manage trade-in appraisals and auction sourcing
- Collaborate with the Finance and F&I department to maximize per-vehicle gross profit
- Analyze market data and adjust inventory mix accordingly
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations related to used vehicle sales
Qualifications
- 3+ years of automotive sales management experience required
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong knowledge of used vehicle valuation tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Experience managing vehicle inventory and sourcing through auctions
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
