Microbiology - Medical Lab Scientist Lead

Full-Time / Competitive Pay / Sign-On Bonus

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee daily operations of the blood bank, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and quality assurance protocols.
Supervise and mentor staff to maintain a high level of expertise and professionalism.
Perform advanced testing and analysis of blood samples, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
Manage inventory of blood products and supplies, ensuring availability for patient care needs.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training programs for the blood bank.
Collaborate with medical staff and hospital leadership to support patient care initiatives.
Maintain documentation and reports in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
ASCP (MLS) or equivalent certification is required.
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on blood banking experience.
Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
Expertise in blood banking procedures and standards.
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
BLS certification (must be completed prior to start).
