This role involves working in a dynamic environment catering to a variety of critical conditions including DKA, stroke, ARDS, and more. The position requires several years of ICU experience with competence in EPIC and pyxis usage.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Critical Care - Travel

• Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process for assigned patients
• Addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administers medications and treatments; monitors for side-effects and effectiveness
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients and caregivers

Requirements of the RN - Critical Care - Travel

• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Current ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• RN License in state of TX or compact
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• Several years of ICU experience required
