Hours/Week: 36-40 hours

Employment Type: Contract (W-2)

Licensure: Current RN License in Louisiana

Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Registered Nurse, ICU experience preferred

Hourly Pay Rate: $54.31

What You'll Do

Provide nursing care to ICU patients, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and protocols.
Monitor patient conditions and interpret vital signs for prompt intervention.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
Utilize EPIC documentation for accurate and timely recording of patient data.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health management.
Ensure patient safety and comfort, respecting privacy and cultural differences.
Assist in emergency procedures and respond swiftly to critical situations.

What You Need

Required:

Valid RN license in Louisiana
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with ICU exposure
Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification (12-month blue card)
Experience with EPIC documentation

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Certification in clinical specialty areas
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt to diverse patient populations and changing environments
