Physical Therapist Assistant

This position will begin as a contract role with the opportunity to transition into a long-term placement based on performance and organizational needs. Please note that compensation ranges are determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, and market considerations. Schedule: Part-Time Opportunity (30 hours/week) Monday/Wednesday/Friday 9AM to 7PM Location: Yonkers, New York Setting: Private Clinic Help Patients Restore Movement, Reduce Pain, and Return to the Activities They Love Our client is seeking licensed Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to join their multidisciplinary orthopedic, pain management, and sports medicine practice. What You'll Do: Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in an outpatient orthopedic, pain management, and sports medicine setting Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, functional activities, manual therapy techniques, and therapeutic modalities designed to improve mobility, strength, balance, flexibility, and overall function Treat a variety of conditions, including orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions Monitor patient responses to treatment and communicate progress, concerns, and changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist Complete electronic documentation, daily treatment notes, and other required records in a timely manner Educate patients on prescribed home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and wellness practices to support recovery and long-term success Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to help ensure coordinated, patient-centered care Maintain compliance with clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards while delivering exceptional patient care Qualifications: Active New York State Physical Therapist Assistant License Strong communication and documentation skills Outpatient experience preferred but not required New graduates are encouraged to apply Why Join Us?
