Data Entry Clerk
AtWork Decatur is hiring a Data Entry Clerk for a client in Decatur, AL. We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable candidate who is comfortable working in a professional office environment and providing excellent customer service. This position offers short-term/temporary opportunities with the potential for permanent hire.
Responsibilities
- Enter and update data accurately into company systems and databases
- Accounting
- Verify information for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain organized digital and physical records
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Assist customers in person in a professional manner
- Sort and distribute incoming mail
- Perform general clerical and administrative duties
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous data entry or office experience preferred
- Previous Accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, data entry systems)
- Good typing skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
