As a full time, nonexempt Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll play a hands-on role in helping patients regain strength, mobility, and independence. Working under the guidance of licensed Physical Therapists, you'll implement treatment plans, support patient progress, and contribute to a collaborative care environment. Location: West Branch Ambulatory Care Center focuses on orthopedics, neurosurgery, and medical specialty services for adult and pediatric patients. Patients who are either acute or outpatient are helped to heal and improve their quality of life through a treatment plan of physical therapy, occupational therapy and/or speech and language pathology. The Care Center serves those in the counties of Ogemaw, Oscoda, Roscommon, Arenac and Iosco. This brand new, state-of-the-art clinic is conveniently located at the intersection of M-76 and Airport Road just outside of West Branch.

Schedule: This full-time, nonexempt position will work 40 hours/week.

About the Ambulatory Care Center: The Center's operating hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-6:30pm.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform physical therapy treatments according to plan of care in outpatient, acute care, or home health settings
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and ensure exercises are performed safely and correctly
• Document via Epic or Homecare application
• Perform clinical upkeep as needed
• Work collaboratively with Physical Therapists, physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation staff
• Adhere to state practice acts, facility policies, and professional standards

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current Michigan Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing (or eligibility)
• 1+ year of outpatient treatment experience

Preferred Qualification:

• 2+ years of outpatient experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $23.89 to $42.69 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
