Material Handler

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a material handler, you will be part of the shipping & receiving department supporting the multiple teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Morrisville or Durham, NC

Pay Range: $19.00/hr to $20.34/hr

Shift: 7AM-7PM or 7PM-7AM (2x2x3 Rotating Shifts)

What's the Job?

• Transport, maintain, and stock raw materials for manufacturing processes.

• Operate electric pallet jacks safely to move products throughout the facility and storage areas.

• Ensure materials are properly labeled, organized, and staged according to production needs.

• Maintain a safe environment for personnel and machinery, adhering to all safety procedures

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Ability to learn the operation of machinery and material characteristics.

• One year material handling or inventory experience (in a distribution environment.)

• Six months forklift experience preferred (in a distribution environment.)

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended shifts.
