Job Opportunity

Position: Travel RN - Emergency Department (ED)

Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM

Location: Centennial, CO

Unit Information:

The Emergency Department consists of:

• Number of Beds: 18
• Staffing: 3-5 RNs
• Patient Ratios: Typically 4:1, depending on acuity

Staffing Details:

The unit operates with the following shift structure:

• Day Shift: 2 RNs
• Mid Shift: 2-3 RNs on select days
• Night Shift: 2 RNs

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-year current acute care Emergency Department RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications
• Preferred: Experience working in a large hospital setting and prior Meditech experience

Typical Procedures Performed:

• IV insertion and management
• Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
• Foley catheter placement
• Splint application
• Wound care and infiltration
• Medication administration and patient assessments

• Respiratory therapy

• Staff support on medical-surgical and ICU floors
• Full laboratory services with on-site lab staff
• Radiology services including CT, MRI, Echo, X-ray, and Ultrasound, all available on-site
