Details Outpatient medical pavilion setting in the Echo/Cardiac Sonography department Daily caseload of 10–12 studies per technologist Cases include TTE and a broad range of vascular studies: lower extremity venous and arterial (LEVs, LEAs, ABIs), carotid duplex, upper extremity arterial and venous (UEAs, UEVs), and groin duplex/pseudoaneurysm Monday through Thursday, approximately 36 hours per week, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM No on‑call or weekend requirements No floating to other units or sister facilities Epic EMR — experience preferred Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in echocardiography and vascular sonography Dual certification required: RDCS or RCS and RVT; CCI certification also accepted Current BLS (AHA only) Hands‑on experience with TTE and vascular studies including LEVs, LEAs, ABIs, carotids, UEAs, UEVs, and groin duplex (pseudoaneurysm) SC license required if applicable SSN and Driver's License required for consideration 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Additional Information First‑time travelers are accepted for this position Non‑local candidates are prioritized; local candidates (within 60 miles of the facility) are considered on a case‑by‑case basis Former permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration; approval is subject to facility needs Online modules are required and must be completed prior to the start of the assignment Scrub color: Navy Blue No parking cost Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response duties; peak activity months are August and September Epic EMR experience is preferred Benefits Premium medical, dental, vision and life insurance beginning day one of the assignment Generous 401(k) match Substantial housing stipend Compensation American Traveler Job ID #P-707322.
