Join Portland Vet Stroudwater and build something new from day one! As our new GP clinic opens its doors, we re seeking a licensed or credentialed veterinary technician (LVT/CVT/RVT) to help deliver exceptional patient and client care in a collaborative and expanding environment.

Anticipated Schedule
\n This is a full-time position

\n

\n
• Flexible 4-day schedule to start, set schedule of Monday - Thursday (7:30am to 6pm) schedule as of September 2026
\n
• No weekends or major holidays
\n
• Potential for schedule change or start time change in future, or weekend day with growth
\n

\n

Compensation

\n

\n
• Pay range $28 to $32 per hour, commensurate with experience and licensure
\n
• Sign-On bonus up to $5,000
\n

What You ll Do

\n

\n
• Assist veterinarians with routine general practice procedure s: exams, diagnostics, anesthesia monitoring, lab work, venipuncture, and catheter placement
\n
• Assist veterinarians with routine general practice surgeries such as spay/neuter and mass removals
\n
• Support with patient intake, client communication, and education on treatments
\n
• Help manage patient flow and appointment coordination in a fast-paced setting
\n
• Collaborate with the GP team to shape workflows, culture, and best practices from the start
\n

Ideal Candidate

\n

We're looking for a skilled, collaborative veterinary technician who is excited to help build a fabulous team culture and play an active role in launching a brand-new general practice

\n

\n
• Licensed/Credentialed veterinary technician; very experienced veterinary assistants may also be considered
\n
• Minimum 1 2 years of experience in small animal practice including surgery
\n
• Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues
\n
• Comfortable using practice management software and diagnostic equipment
\n
• Demonstrates compassion, teamwork, initiative, and respect
\n
