Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Bridgeport, West Virginia. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in an acute care setting within the operating room environment. The role includes cross-training in Endoscopy procedures, with responsibilities encompassing a variety of surgical cases excluding open heart surgeries, utilizing advanced equipment such as DaVinci robots, Baxter pumps, Phillips systems, and Dynomap. Job Details Required Qualifications: BLS Certification; minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room setting; valid license to submit; experience with all OR areas, including Vascular (excluding open hearts), General, Orthopedics, Neuro, Eyes, ENT; experience with robotic surgery such as DaVinci robot preferred. Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, weekends as scheduled, with call rotation including one weeknight call every 4 weeks from 7 PM to 7 AM and one weekend call on either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, up to 24 hours per 3-month contract. Additional Information: The role requires a valid driver's license for submission purposes. The unit has 11 rooms, with 8 OR Suites and 3 Endoscopy Suites, averaging approximately 65 cases daily, including vascular (excluding open heart). The position involves handling Baxter pumps, robotic systems, and electively cross-training to Endoscopy. The environment is modern, with a focus on patient safety and advanced surgical procedures.
