Estate Planning Paralegal

Job Description
The paralegal’s primary responsibility is to take on as much work from the attorney as possible, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
\n \nThe Estate Planning Paralegal provides administrative and substantive legal support to the attorneys of Creative Planning’s legal department.

\n \nJob Duties:
\n- \n
- Can perform all duties described in prior sections of Legal Administrative Assistant and Legal Assistant \n
- Self-directed practice management with Attorney oversight \n
- Drafts full and substantive plans with functional knowledge of documents to the extent requested by attorney \n
- Ability to draft plans in HotDocs \n
- May perform In-office signings with no supervision \n
- Ability to conduct legal research – take initiative on synthesizing answers to legal questions \n
- Is aware of statutory changes that occur in specialized areas of interest and relays the changes internally to staff and Attorneys – Maintains awareness of communicated relevant changes of law \n
- Has extended communication with clients, wealth managers, and financial planners regarding attorney notes and knowledge of documents, with no practice of law \n
- Manages billing reports and calendar \n
- Work from home is allowed after 90-day training period. \n
Required Experience/ Qualifications :

- Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate \n
- Efficient, detail-oriented and accurate \n
Preferred Experience/ Qualifications :
\n- \n
- 1 or more years of Paralegal Experience in Estate Planning \n
Technical Skills:
\n- \n
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe \n
Salary Range: $50,000 - $58,000
